Vintage Props, Unusual & Decorative Antiques. R sale is a fantastic early 20th Century antique oak cash register. Made by Gledhill and Sons of Halifax. Gledhill moved in to the Trinity Works in Halifax in 1892. This till is from the early part of the 20th Century. This till features the patented mechanism by which the top screw of the handle is moved to the right to open the till. The drawer can also be locked with a key as can the top. In lovely working order with beautiful bell. It would originally have had glass on the top till roll exit.

We have a key that works for the drawer, but not for the top. A beautiful piece with dovetail joints, perfect for display or to use and enjoy. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
