Early 20th C American Vint Carved Wooden Cash Register Till (jigged & Routered)

LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY AME RI CAN VINTAGE CARVED & WALNUT STAINED. PINE WOOD, 6-BAY CASH REGISTER. Ame ri can antique carved wood cash drawers & tills. 15" Width x 7" Depth x 1 ¾ Height. For sale is this intact and very nice late 19th-early 20th century Ame ri can antique jigged and routered wooden cash till or cash register drawer. I has 6-carved out bays for receiving different denominations of coins, with 2 larger elongated round bays in the front and on each side and 4 smaller round bays in the back. The edges of the till are vertical and the top and bottom flat. The front- middle of the cash drawer is jigged out and curves inward, leaving a recess for possibly placing and storing bills or checks. The wood appears to be a dark stained pine that was once lacquered. It now has a soft, mellow, original antique patina and finish. There's a minor ding on the top of the drawer that's now darkened. It's minor and only demonstrates the wood cash till was previously used. The till would have fit into a concealed wooden drawer, perhaps under a countertop. It also could have fit into the pull-out drawer of a later late 19th to early 20th century wooden or upright metal cash register. A great late 19th-early 20th century Ame ri can antique mercantile artifact. Great as a wall-hanger, rustic decor or to use in your shop to tender cash.
