Vintage/antique Wooden Cash Till Drawer,'O'Brien's Self Closing Till', WORKING

Vintage/antique wooden'O'BRIEN'S Self Closing Till'. The till is 470mm long, 195mm tall, and 265mm wide. The cash drawer is beautifully made for such a utilitarian item with lovely dove tail joints and a good quality steel handle. As can be seen in my video, the cash register works well, the bell ringing and paper rolling when the drawer is opened. When the drawer is pushed about halfway in, it closes itself.

Internally the drawer has five coin wells and a section for notes. The wood is a lovely colour and has been waxed which makes for a nice tactile finish. There are are two holes to the drawer front and two to the side as per picture. Also three holes and a historical split to the base, presumably where the till was screwed down to a counter. The lock and keep are missing.
